Quality and reliability of KRONE TRUSTED TPMS

KRONE provides you with TPMS of the highest quality. Our tire pressure monitoring system accurately measures tire pressure and always provides you with reliable readings.
The sensors are robust and consistently reliable. KRONE TRUSTED TPMS undergoes rigorous testing and proves its strength in daily use. You receive trailer components that function reliably even under the toughest conditions.

Advantages of KRONE TRUSTED TPMS

KRONE TRUSTED TPMS increases safety and efficiency. The tyre pressure monitoring system immediately detects deviations in tyre pressure. This prevents damage to tyres and rims. In addition, expensive breakdowns areavoided and fuel is saved. The sensors provide accurate data in real time and warn you early on. In your trailer, you benefit from a direct connection between technology and driving comfort.

Areas of application KRONE TRUSTED TPMS

KRONE TRUSTED TPMSis used in many areas. Long-distance transport, distribution transport or on construction sites: the tyre pressure monitoring system reliably monitors every trailer. The sensors continuously check the tyre pressure, whether in refrigerated vehicles, container transport or standard trailers. KRONE TRUSTED TPMS ensures greater safety, longer tyre life and lower operating costs everywhere.

FAQs

What is difference between RDKS and TPMS?

RDKS and TPMS basically refer to the same system. RDKS stands for "Reifendruckkontrollsystem" (tyre pressure monitoring system) and is theGerman term. TPMS is the English abbreviation for Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Both systems monitor tire pressure using sensors and report deviations directly to the driver.
The difference is therefore not in technology, but only in the name. In Europe, the term RDKS is mostly used, while internationally the term TPMS is used. Both terms describe systems that increase safety, protect tyres, and save fuel.

Is TPMS mandatory?

According to the EU General Safety Regulation, TPMS is mandatory for commercial vehicles. From July 2022, newly homologated trucks must be equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system. And since July 2024, the requirement applies to all newly registered vehicles in classes M2, M3, N1, N2, N3, O3, and O4—including trailers and buses.
This makes TPMS mandatory in Europe for all heavy-duty vehicles. The aimis to increase safety and efficiency, prevent breakdowns, and reduce CO₂ emissions caused by incorrect tire pressure. KRONE already offers reliable systems that exceed the minimum legal requirements.
